1 Month

It's hard to believe that a month has already flown by. I was really afraid I wouldn't be able to handle two kids...I can barely take care of Mads without going nuts! But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think two kids is easier that one. Now, don't get me wrong...I'm crazy busy, but the time goes by SO MUCH FASTER than with just one.

Stella had her 2 week appointment on 3/7...here are her stats:
Weight: 8lbs 1oz (48%)
Height: 20 inches (25%)
Head: 35 cm (25%)

She's pretty good about 'sleeping though the night'. Doctors say 5 hours is considered sleeping, although I consider 8 hours. She will get up at 2am to eat and again around 6 or so. Since about her 3rd or 4th day home, she's had no formula, so I'm pretty happy about that. Just the other day she started making cooing noises; either that or little screams, I prefer to think it's the former.
Here's the Big Sister...being goofy as always.

...Don't let the innocent face fool you...

The Taub Girls

Madeleine has been really good with Stella, which I'm very surprised/happy about! She even tries to blow the baby's nose with a burp rag...then we have to remind her that we don't sufficate the baby:-)

My Great Husband

On Saturday, Mark gave me the 'day off''. Talk about a great husband! Mark took both girls out by himself...waited in the drive through for a half hour to bring me dounuts (yes, plural, and yes...I did eat both). He then took them to McDonalds so Mads could play. They were gone for a few hours...then, it was my turn to go out and play for a few hours. I loved every moment of it!

On a side note, I want to go down to St. George tomorrow...it's going to be 77 degrees...just saying.

Well, my mom left yesterday and Mark's family is still here; everyone has been a great help! I remember thinking when Mads was a newborn how busy I was and how I didn't have time for anything...try a newborn with a toddler! The newborn is easy now:-) Madeleine is doing really well with her little sister. She's makes sure to say 'goodnight' and 'hi baby' every day and even grabs her diapers when she needs to be changed.

Grandma and Mads (my mom)

Already has an attitude

Zeyde and Nana (Marks family)

What a proud big sister!

The awesome hat Amber made for Stella!

Me: Madeleine, are you tired?
Mads: No, I'm Madeleine!
