Blessed Little Stella

We blessed Stella in church today, Mark did a great job! She was a very well behaved baby; probably the best she's been yet in church! We are very fortunate to have such great friends out here who are like family; all the men supported Mark so well. After church, we came back to our place and enjoyed lunch and the nice weather! THANK YOU everyone who came to support Baby Stella.

The gown which Stella wore has been worn by 4 ladies in my family. The dress was originally a wedding gown worn by my Grandmother Jenni then a while later by my mom. When we found out Madeleine was a girl, she asked a close friend of hers to tailor it into a baptism/blessing gown. Madeleine and Stella were both blessed in their Great Grandmother's wedding dress. The dress also has a coat which was made, but it's too warm to wear it now:-) {after i wrote this i noticed i wrote the same thing in Madeleine's post...oh well}

The ribbon on the bonnet is the only 'non' original material.

It was actually a 2.5 month check up since we were out of town. At least this child is on the charts!

I'm heading back to work tomorrow...after my three month maternity leave. I was really worried I wouldn't enjoy myself being off for so long, but I had a BLAST! Not sure if it's because I had two kids to entertain me, the weather was nice, or because I now know others in my neighborhood so I could hang out with them. Anyways, I'll miss my time off.

Every morning when Madeleine wakes up she says, 'Dada at work.' I won't be there tomorrow to hear her say this. I feel bad for Megan, I think tomorrow will be a rough day for Madeleine. Going back to work after this long of a leave isn't as bad as returning from vacation (I say that now, we'll see how I feel tomorrow). Anyways, when we return from vaca, we have a weeks worth of work waiting...this time around I don't think I'll have three months worth waiting...I know I don't have any VM's:-)

Easter Sunday

Easter was spent in the Soo this year. We had fun decorating eggs/finding Easter baskets/playing outside/visiting Aunt Pat and Uncle Roger!
